    Cosmic Conversations

Every Third Tuesday at 7:00 pm

Stay tuned for September event details!

Cosmic Conservations at the BPO work much like a book group. Topics are pre-selected by the group and become the basis for the evenings conversation.

References are given for a selected topic, e.g. Wiki articles, news pieces, magazine articles etc. so that everyone has some background on the subject. These are non-mathematical discussions designed to “ignite a passion for science through the lens of astronomy."

We offer a hybrid in person plus Zoom format for this Conversation.  In person is a small group (limited to 15 people) at Battle Point Observatory.  Use the "Register" button on the left to attend in person.  Or, if you prefer to attend virtually, use this Zoom sign-up

Advance registration is required. Please note these conversations are for ages 16+, due to the in-depth discussion material which younger audiences may not find interesting.
